Ukraine, Putin, and Biden a Deadline Approaches

The massing of Russian Troops on the Ukraine border, (tens of thousands) has the Ukraine’s uneasy, and they have every right to be after the annexation of Crimea, but Putin has no choice and I don’t think the West understands he is surrounded by NATO enemies.  After the end of the Cold War and the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Soviets became the Russians and withdrew all troops from the Warsaw Pact countries; (i.e. Hungary, Estonia, etc.) with the promise NATO wouldn’t expand.  This promise was broken by the Allies and Putin’s back is against the wall surrounded by NATO bases with all the trimmings.  It’s no wonder he fears Ukraine will be the next domino to fall under Article 5 protection, “An attack against one, is an attack on all.”

The former FSB agent is stealing a play from the US, specifically the Bush Doctrine, and a pre-emptive strike; securing that the Ukraine will not become his Cuban Missile Crisis.  Is it any coincidence the Russians have developed super-sonic weapons to defeat the missile defense umbrella bestowed upon them?  In-addition to supplying Europe with gas reserves for the winter, which could be used in the geo-political landscape of 2022, due to the fact Putin cannot get assurances Ukraine will remain NATO exempt; a line in the sand has been drawn.  When a country amasses troops, artillery, and support systems, you have to “pull the trigger,” otherwise the country has indebted itself.

We can look to recent history in the Middle East and the invasion of Iraq for clarity.  The US, along with the Coalition of the Willing; committed many thousands of men, ships, planes, and in short, assets; that needed to be deployed regardless of UN weapons inspections.  The same can be said of the Russian build-up.  The military industrial complex needs to expend product when an establishment is met.

Mr. Biden has always been a hawk and Putin has been worried since 2016 when a Clinton Presidency could’ve advanced a No-Fly Zone in Syria; seriously jeopardizing relations with D.C.  Putin seems to have the upper hand, because no American wants boots on the ground in Ukraine, in winter or summer.  But war, always draws the eye of the beholder, off scandals, mishap’s, and low approval ratings.  Its allocation pays dividends to pork projects and Freedom Fries.  With an advancement in innovation that can’t be denied.  A proud people push forward with hate in their heart, writing messages on bombs; so the enemy feels their hurt.

Are we so far removed from the Christian Nation we were founded on to see this is madness?  Or do go to Sunday Mass and be forgiven for our mortal sins; in the face of true adversity.  Can we see the weak, meek, and hungry; as our brother’s and sister’s, or are we consumed with “Me?”  Do we shout from the roof tops, “They had a choice,”  “They chose wrong; Infidel!”  Conversely, do we hold the power, prowess, to hug them when they have wronged us and bless them with security?  I believe we do, in a New York minute, to see the light, love, and power we all possess.  Can Putin and Biden?  Probably not, they devise to separate us, but as I heard recently; there’s more of Us than Them!
