December 2024 fades away in the rear view and the defrosting is primed to clear sight of the past. January 2025 seems so futuristic for someone born in 1980 growing up on Terminator, Back to the Future, and Alien. The uncertainty in the years to come to close out the decade will shift humanity that’s for sure, but in what shape? We seem to be on the brink of upheaval, disruption, and interruption to the order we have known.
The return of ‘the Donald’ to the Oval Office with an outcast cabinet definitely outside the Bell Curve, is sure to be loud. Executive Orders will fly off of POTUS’s Resolute Desk in the presence of the loyalists and the joy of his supporters lifting their spirits. But for the other half, well that’s a different story. It’s the end of their world and they don’t feel fine.
Americans are facing a breakdown of rule and procedure that they were taught to trust in. But with disruption comes change. The old ways simply weren’t working for the majority of the country and that was demonstrated in the election. Policing the world is not the policy moving forward and that will spur a different kind of development. Alliances may shift to a more domestic stance but what does that mean for everyday folk?
Will tax cuts and tariffs garner a windfall of jobs, and a strong dollar? Can the idea of a BTC reserve by the US government innovate the crypto community for use by the majority? How long will it take to secure the border in a humane way? Is Elon Musk really Trump’s right-hand man? Does real disclosure happen officially on the record? What about the implications of AI? And let’s not forget all the wars ongoing and the fall of Damascus, which seemed to be overlooked by the media. Let’s try and process this new world.
For the people and buy the people will represent how most feel emotionally better. Can I fill my tank up, get my meds, buy groceries, and pay the rent comfortably? 60% don’t have a $500 cushion and that’s not going to make for purchasing power in a service economy. If the DODGE committee is going to slash the budget there will be sacrifice and the 60% are already doing that. But if it is not done the dollar will continue to bleed, something it’s done every day since it was taken off the gold standard. Thank God for the 11 aircraft carriers deployed by the US keeping shipping lanes open for trade and most oil bought in greenbacks securing America with the reserve currency of the world.
‘The future is now,’ was slogan by character Gary Lee in 1990’s Prayer of the Roller Boys. Hollywood star, Cory Haim, used a GPS navigation delivering Pinky’s Pizza to the rehabilitation camps, in the ‘Pinky Van, Man,’ a foreshadowing of the 20 teens. ChatGTP has shown us firsthand the computing power it harnesses by our input. It can write papers or paint a masterpiece almost instantaneously but quantum computers is where the real power lies. Instead of working on a 0 or 1, it can be both at the same time, termed a qubit. Google with Sycamore has already seen it’s work surpass the world’s fastest supercomputer solving an equation in four minutes that would’ve taken over a thousand years for it. Self-driving taxis are about to be released by Tesla and trucks won’t be far behind. The neuro implant and everyday interactions with AI are going to take time for us to adjust but not for them.
Skynet from Terminator has already been demonstrated in Ukraine. A fleet of 500 cheaply made drones can do significant damage to weapons and installations that are much more expensive. It’s the wild west with testing on human targets. Since 2008 the US has had superior air power in the drone arena but this technology has spread much faster than nuclear tech, giving enemy actors an affordable and formidable opponent for the US military. But it does seem the most economical option to secure the border. 10,000 drones don’t cost nearly that of a battleship or Raptor.
Thinking of the military industrial complex Ukraine has received $64 billion to date. In Iraq the United States spent $747 billion so I suppose under budget in 3yrs but how can the Trump administration end the conflict? Putin has to save face and he’s getting desperate to point of enlisting North Koreans. And the Russians don’t like them from what I’ve read. Because the Russians couldn’t take Kiev the way the US took Baghdad shows their incompetence; I mean they ran out of gas, you got to shock and awe that guy. But domestically in western North Carolina they beg for the reconstruction of Asheville and surrounding areas. “A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death,” said MLK.
Switching to spiritual faiths, which is a strong influence on most leaders, will real disclosure of other intelligence shift humans to accept or reject reality? The Vatican has been prepping for years with statements back logging 2008 from their chief astronomer, saying there is no conflict between believing in God and in the possibility of “extraterrestrial brothers” perhaps more evolved than humans. “In my opinion this possibility (of life on other planets) exists,” said Jesuit Father Jose Gabriel Funes. Their libraries and telescopes contain more than meets our eyes, a major player for such a small nation-state.
In my view disclosure happened a long time ago but only for those who sought it. If you don’t know what a TR3B is, you ain’t looking. From a skeptic’s point of view do you seriously think NASA shut down for a decade and let Elon show what was possible? Rocket technology is old when you think in terms of Moore’s law. V2’s hitting London was in the 1940’s. If you don’t know who David Adair, the rocket man, from West Virginia is check his ‘star in a jar’ rocket technology out, crushes Space X in the 1970’s. E.T. are never landing on the White House lawn but you possess the power to summon them. Download Dr. Steven Geer’s CT5 app if you want to put it to the test. Give it the scientific method through trials. Or don’t, no worries.
Let’s get back to reality and the interactions that we will all have Monday to Sunday with a phone that blasts a Trump Tweet, a viral video of abuse, fights in line at the airport, shootings at schools, and prices that soar from medical to homes. The renter class to homeownership gap has been widened over the last decade. The American Dream is out of reach for citizens under 35-year-olds with more and more men out of work, an uneducated. But America always innovates and says yes to Manifest Destiny with a spirit to enter a marketplace damn the entries. Home ownership backed by FHA could spawn another middle class that hasn’t been represented like the past. There’s pride in that, which yields self-respect, and a neighborhood that embodies a new way of order amongst the chaos with a 1776 spirit. Defending their way of life through stars and stripes from the porch and driveway that they can call their ‘castle’ instills resourcefulness. Maybe this is a pipe dream that goes up in smoke in 24 legalized or 39 medical states but it’s worth mentioning. If I’m running a country, I want homeowners mentality from my constituents. I’m thinking Cool Runnings, “I see pride! I see power! I see one bad mother that won’t take nothing from nobody!” And they shock and awe you, providing the spark of an eternal flame in Arlington that never waivers in battle or peace. Why? Empowerment is the excitement of the soul of a man. Because then the ultimate question becomes, what does one do with power?
